By putting AI into everything, Google wants to make it invisible
Google's annual developer conference, Google I/O, provides an intriguing insight into the future of Artificial Intelligence. The brainchild of Sergey Brin, the bigwigs of Google have been striving to make AI invisible. AI technologies have been nestled in various projects, striving to make our lives more comfortable, competent, and gracious. With Google Assistant, Google's virtual personal assistant, offering a new zest, it has shaped relationships between people and AI, changing the landscape of artificial intelligence and voice-operated technology.
Google's motto has always been innovate or be left behind, and recent years have shown that the tech giant doesn't shy away from pushing the limits. Google has worked towards making AI a backbone for their services, focusing on advancements that cater to improving our lives covertly and seamlessly. The Google I/O conference displayed many advancements where the most outstanding was Google Assistant.
Google has been striving to make the AI technology as invisible as possible, aiming to make it so natural, smooth, and seamless that users will noticeably cease taking notice of it. Google's President, Sundar Pichai, stated, "Our vision is AI for everyone, not everyone has to be an AI expert". Google is working to develop AI-fueled services that are simple and easy to use. They want every user to get the benefits of AI technology, and the Google I/O gives us a glimpse of that vision.
What's next for Google? Time will tell. The 2019 I/O’s indicates Google is on a trajectory where their products are gradually becoming one and interconnected.
