Sparc3D is a great technology, but there was no intention to make it open source from the start. The proof of this is that they have not released the source and models even after two weeks, and they have deleted the huggingface demo page to direct people to their own service, hitem3d. This is just using Github and huggingface as a clear advertisement for their own service. It's just a scare tactic and a violation of the terms and conditions.
Coming soon, just like the inference code, eh?
This is desapointed their atitude! Shame on them
congrats to their team,
It was pretty clear from the start, since Math Magic was mentioned, it's a for-profit chinese startup so if they sponsored the research, they were going to monetize the results. But this misleading practice and lies (yea your huggingface demo is under attack, riiiight) is a surefire way to ruin any goodwill and reputation from your potential customers. This model is only a half-step ahead of things like Hunyuan3D and can't do textures, so it'll be obsolete within a few months. I hope they make all the money they need in that time because the clock is ticking.

I´m using hunyuan3d 2.1 locally can do PBR materials already but of course the geometry quality is far from what we can get right now with sparc3D, but hunyuan 2.5 they have as service is much more closest! but what you say´s is right the clock is ticking and for sure in 1 month we can se a open source getting that results! so better they get all the money now! lol
The Sparc3D Demo is back though
