What Are Tokens?

Tokens are digital credits that you earn by contributing food images to our project. These tokens are stored in your account and can be redeemed for various rewards once you've accumulated enough.

💰 How to Earn Tokens

Basic image upload	1 token	Must meet minimum quality standards
High-quality image upload	2 tokens	Based on resolution, lighting, and focus
Complete metadata	+1 token	All fields accurately filled
Unique food category	+1 token	Foods underrepresented in our dataset
Weekly streak bonus	5 tokens	Upload at least one image every day for 7 days
Monthly consistency	10 tokens	At least 20 uploads in a calendar month
Referral bonus	5 tokens	When a referred user uploads their first 5 images

🔄 Token Multipliers

Certain conditions may multiply your token earnings:

2x during special data collection events
1.5x for foods on our "most needed" list
1.25x for active contributors (50+ uploads)

🎁 Redeeming Tokens

Tokens can be redeemed for the following rewards:

Amazon gift cards
PayPal cash transfers
Donation to food-related charities
Premium app features
Early access to our AI nutritional analysis tools

Note: Token redemption is subject to availability and eligibility requirements. Minimum redemption thresholds apply.

⚠️ Token Expiration

Tokens do not expire as long as your account remains active. An account is considered inactive if there are no uploads for 6 consecutive months.

📋 Token History

Your complete token earning and redemption history is available in your profile dashboard. Please report any discrepancies within 30 days.

🔄 Program Changes

We reserve the right to modify the token reward system. Any changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance and will not affect tokens already earned.
